#MUSEUMMONDAYS - late night opening until 21h00 on Monday evenings

NOT ON 30/12/19

From Monday 7 October the House of European History announced late openings on Monday evenings until 21h00. The #MuseumMondays initiative will allow visits to the museum from 13h00 to 21h00 every Monday for the foreseeable future. Guided tours in English, French, Dutch and German are available for groups, upon request, four weeks in advance, providing an extra dimension to our permanent and temporary exhibitions.

This offer will allow people to visit the museum after working hours, and on a day which is often closed for cultural institutions. On top of our varied events programme, we now offer after-work cultural activities regularly every Monday. From analysing visitor feedback, we could see that people often wanted to stay longer than our previous closing time of 18h00. For tourists, who appreciate that we offer the history of Europe in a nutshell, we will be one of the key locations to visit on Mondays, when other museums are closed. Overall these extended opening hours reinforce the Brussels cultural offer.
